CAN YOU HELP??? Charity Art Auction in aid of Julia's House Children's
We are excited to announce our upcoming Charity Art Auction in aid of Julia's House Children's Hospice. The auction will take place online, as well as on the evening of 24th May within the school grounds during Poetry & Prose.
Julia's House provides invaluable day to day care, support & end of life care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Through the EDGE, we currently have pupils who volunteer each week in their charity shop in Warminster & we are committed to raising funds to ensure Julia’s House can continue their remarkable work. Julia’s House costs £3.34 million to run each year. They currently only receive 4% funding in Wiltshire from the government.
We are reaching out to our current parents, OVS, staff, local artists and pupils, who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of these children and their families. We believe that Art has the power to inspire, uplift, and unite communities, and we are seeking donations of artwork to feature in our auction. Your generosity in contributing artwork to our auction would not only help us raise vital funds for Julia's House but also showcase your talent and commitment. Your donation will make a tangible difference in the lives of these children and their families, providing them with essential care and support during challenging times.
We welcome donations of various forms of artwork, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and more. We already have donations coming in from a selection local artists. Please email Lisa Cook, lcook@warminsterschool.org.uk with any donations you are kindly able to give by 13th May, 2024.
