On a Wednesday night, the Warminster School's International Community came together for an evening of celebration, camaraderie, and inspiration. The WIC Dinner was a fantastic event that highlighted the incredible strength of our diverse school community.
One of the evening's standout moments was the warm welcome given to Old Verlucian (OV) John Ng. Though John left Warminster in 2014, he returned to share his journey, having carved out a successful career. Now working at Rolls Royce, John's insights into his experiences as an international student and his life beyond Warminster School were invaluable.
John Ng's speech highlighted the opportunities provided by an international education at Warminster School. He recounted his early days at the school, friendships, and the variety of experiences he enjoyed. The audience was captivated by John's personal growth during his time at Warminster and his dedication to continuing his studies at Loughborough University.
More than just a celebration of international diversity, the WIC Dinner welcomes all of our international pupils and makes sure they feel supported throughout their time at the school. It was an evening that exemplified the welcoming and supportive community that defines Warminster School, where students from all over the world come together to learn, grow, and thrive.
Huge thanks to Mrs Sustek for organising the evening, and all of the students involved.
