To mark World Mental Health Day yesterday, we wanted to remind all in our school and wider community that your mental health matters, today and everyday.
Here at Warminster School, we are very proud of our Health and Wellbeing Hub. A former boarding house that has now been converted for the use of wellbeing.
This dedicated space for health and wellbeing combines a large health and medical centre, rooms for the School Counsellor and listening service, sensory rooms, meditation spaces and quiet areas for pupils to use. With mental health, anxiety, and stress issues at an all-time high for young people, we believe this initiative is a significant step to provide a dedicated facility where we will continue to put our pupils first and provide specific help and support, as and when it’s required.
The School nursing team, along with our healthcare assistants are based at the Hub.
