Warminster School are again this year, taking part in Denim4Dementia, which is a great way to help support people living with dementia in Wiltshire.
Our denim mufti day will help towards, community singing groups, art groups, memory cafes and outdoor gardening groups, help people facing isolation and uncertainty to make friends and enjoy activities together. And you will be supporting the day clubs that are a lifeline to families affected by dementia, in many cases the only thing enabling people to remain living in their own homes.
It's also a great way to have some fun!! The more denim, the better.
It will be a full denim mufti day, so you can wear denim jeans, shirts, jackets, dungarees, dress, jumpsuit, skirt, basically anything denim, in any colour. Are you brave enough to go for double denim???? BUT you must wear an item of denim and not normal mufti. No denim, then it's full school uniform.
D4D day is about coming together as a community to spread awareness of Dementia as well as raising much needed funds.
