The OV Day of Sport is back for 2026! This great event brings together pupils and OVs for a day of exciting competition and reconnecting with old friends.

The day will feature thrilling matches in football, hockey, and netball. Whether you're a seasoned player or eager to dust off your sports gear, this is your chance to showcase your skills once again. If you don't fancy playing, come along to support and join us for drinks and dinner.

After the sporting action, we invite you to enjoy a drinks reception, the perfect opportunity to mingle and celebrate the day's events. Raise a glass with old friends, followed by a 2-course dinner.

Times for the day:

11:30 - Arrivals from this time and bacon rolls served
12:15 - Mixed Hockey
13:15 - Boys' Football
14:15 - Girls' Netball
15:15 - Boys' Hockey

Evening Events:

19:45 - Evening Drinks Reception
20:15 - Dinner

OVs will have access to Townroe Lodge, our Sixth Form Centre next to the Astro, to use during the day to store bags, escape the rain if needed, and have a well-deserved rest. You'll also have the option to hang out here between the sport and dinner if you don’t have somewhere local to go back to.

Daytime events are FREE, but please let us know if you are coming and if you’re keen to play or just cheer on from the sidelines. Dinner tickets cost £28.50 and include a 2 course dinner and 2 welcome drinks.
